The most basic requirement to enjoy the game of paintball is to have a paintball gun. You can practically enjoy the game of paintball with just a paintball gun and everything else is just accessories.

However, there are other paintball gear that are recommended for every game of paintball. The game’s evolution has ensured the safety of the players and gear are required in every professional game. In fact, most of the paintball stages don’t allow players who don’t have the necessary safety gear.

Among the paintball safety gear, paintball masks are maybe the most important. It protects your eyes from dangerous paintballs as even a slight hit from these will most likely give your eyes permanent damage. There are so many different types of mask and you maybe tempted to get a ski mask maybe because of availability or price. For your safety, use only paintball mask gears as they are optimized for paintballs.

Aside from masks, the clothing that you’ll be wearing is also important. You may see that most of the clothes for paintball are camouflaged. Since it’s a war-game its just proper that you have the right gears that mimics and actual war clothes. However, you don’t just go for the color, you actually have to go for the things that you will NOT see in those clothes: buttons and zippers. Remember that you’ll be crawling and running in unsafe grounds so it’s best that you don’t have anything in your body that could pierce you unknowingly.
